No time to rest for 6S CubeSat! 🛰️ ESA just gave the Green Light to conduct the environmental testing campaign on the STM (Structural Thermal Model) in the framework of the FYS! Testing Opportunities programme. 🗓️ The tests will take place at the CubeSat Support Facility (ESA) in ESEC, Belgium in October 2024! The main objective of the tests is to perform model correlation of the test results obtained on the digital-twins of the CubeSat through thermal and structural simulation but also in order to get hands-on and practical experience on how a testing campaign is conducted, which will be functional to the Proto-Flight Model (PFM) testing campaign that will be sub-sequent to the current one. We will performe: -From STR-side: Frequency search, Quasi-static e Random vibration tests -From TCS-side: Thermal Balance in a Thermal Vacuum Chamber (TVaC)
