Reach Aut - Care Like Home

Yesterday, law enforcement responded to a report about two English-speaking individuals who were causing disturbances and displaying clear mental health issues. They approached Reach Aut due to our status as a key resource for mental health support in the community. Given our role as a resource for the American and English-speaking communities in Aviano, they sought our assistance in determining whether the descriptions matched anyone we might know, in order to aid in their search and to inform us of the presence of these individuals in the area. Since we were not familiar with the two individuals, they thanked us after explaining the situation in detail and continued their search. Reach Aut is proud to support the authorities of both communities that we feel connected to—the American and the Italian—and we remain happy to assist. Due to the rapid unfolding of events, we were unable to communicate to all the families present the reason for the Carabinieri's presence and their patrols. Therefore, we felt it appropriate to inform our community through this announcement. Our team is available for any further questions or concerns regarding this matter.

Here at Reach Aut, #MentalHealth is always our top priority. That's why we are very proud to join people and organizations from all over the world for this #WorldMentalHealthDay to raise awareness over the importance of our #MentalWellbeing. This year's theme is "Mental Health in Workplace": discrimination, abuse, harassment, poor working conditions and a stressful environment affect the mental balance of millions and millions of adults worldwide. It's time to act and address employers and workers towards better working relationships, in order to avoid toxic behaviors and abusive attitudes. A new #SchoolYear has begun, and with it comes our renewed partnership with H-FARM International School to help our kids grow, evolve and support them with their #PhysicalWellbeing and #MentalWellbeing. Two are the projects already active at H-Farm Internation School: 🎨 PAINTING & FEELINGS - A weekly meeting where kids will learn to express and deal with their emotions through the creative thought, with the help and support of professional therapists. 🖌 DUPLO + LEGO - A weekly meeting where kids will develop their physical and creative skills through the use of building blocks, with the help and support of professional therapists. With nearly 50.000 cases in 2023, as stated by the @whitehouse, #suicide is still one of the most relevant causes of death among the US population. This 10 September 2024, for this #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, we side with @who and @IASPinfo to #ChangeTheNarrative on suicide: from a culture of silence and shame, to one of openness, empathy and support. We want to celebrate the #LGBTQ+ #military across the World, working tirelessly with courage and pride to serve&protect and build a safer place for everyone. And we want to advocate for an ever more inclusive culture for people in the armed forces and for their loved ones. Because every individual has the right to feel cared for.
