Menopause is a significant phase in a woman’s life, during which nearly 45% of women experience symptoms like anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. These issues can cause women to pull away from their social circles and work, but does it have to be this way? Today, October 18th is World Menopause Day, dedicated to raising awareness of menopause and its impact on women's wellbeing. At Recordati, we are committed to supporting women at every stage of life by promoting education and open discussions to reduce stigma and improve women’s health. By sponsoring events like Strawoman, a popular running and walking event held in various cities across Italy from May to November with over 30,000 participants each year, we support women in promoting active, healthy lifestyles, while breaking the stigma surrounding menopause and other women’s health issues. What a great edition of CPHI in Milan last week! With around 60,000 industry professionals attending the event, our teams had the invaluable opportunity to engage with the pharma community and explore new opportunities for our business activities in both Specialty & Primary Care and Rare Diseases.
