The global platform to certify and enhance peer review
Chi siamo
Reviewer Credits is an independent platform dedicated to scientists, journals and publishers addressing the peer review process. Peer review ensures research is original, relevant and scientifically sound, helping to sustain accurate information. The considerable growth in submissions makes it increasingly difficult to find rewiewers, impacting overall performance and research availability. ReviewerCredits was created to ensure reviewers receive appropriate recognition and certification for their activity, aiming to enhance visibility so that it can be added to their curricula and become instrumental in career advancement. Reviewers also earn virtual credits to be used against selected services: ReviewerCredits and its virtual store is the only tool available today to reward reviewer for their contribution.

Great editorial on #peerreview "The Future" in OPO: Well worth a read! 🔻 Article here 👉 lnkd.in/d-qCpDTS 👉 As submissions continue to increase, more and more reviewers are needed (or the same reviewers will have to work on more papers) 👉 It seems likely that we will run out of reviewers (at some point) Thus: Should we pay them? No. 👉 While paying reviewers might make respondents more inclined to say yes to the review request, it is questionable whether it will actually result in higher quality reviews. 👉 Although this would likely make the Associate Editor and Editor's job easier in terms of the search for reviewers, it could actually create more work in the long run if the quality of the reviews declines. Are we publishing too much and not rewarding reviewers properly? Perhaps. reviewercredits.com has a solution (at least for Rewarding!) What better way to round off your #OAWeek than to contribute your input to UNESCO's Consultation on #DiamondOpenAccess! Input is needed from diverse global communities to continue making #DiamondOA truly a global public good. Check out the message from UNESCO and take the survey! "As part of UNESCO’s global consultation process on Diamond OA, we invite you to participate in a survey aimed at gathering your insights to help shape a collaborative framework for Diamond OA. The survey is available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, and we encourage you to share it with other members of the Diamond OA community. Your participation will help gather diverse perspectives, which will contribute to the discussions at the 2nd Global Summit on Diamond Open Access in Cape Town this December, where the survey results will be shared. The survey should take approximately 15 to 25 minutes to complete. Please note that the survey will request your email address for follow-up purposes. However, rest assured that only consolidated findings will be shared, and your personal data will be protected in full compliance with GDPR regulations.
