Il compostaggio è un processo di decomposizione controllata che ricrea quello spontaneo per trasformare gli scarti organici e la bioplastica compostabile in compost, chiudendo correttamente la gestione del ciclo dei rifiuti. Secondo i dati del Consorzio Italiano Compostatori - CIC, nel 2021 l’utilizzo del compost come fertilizzante in agricoltura ha consentito di arricchire i suoli non solo con sostanze nutritive in modo del tutto naturale, ma anche con 440.000 tonnellate di carbonio organico. #Biorepack
