🔥 SAFE-CITIES Project partner IANUS Technologies will be exhibiting at GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This international event gathers leading technology companies and institutions from around the globe. At GITEX, the SAFE-CITIES Project will showcase its key achievements, including the application of the SVA Methodology for the protection of public spaces, to an international audience of tech industry stakeholders and public security authorities.

A meeting between NCSR "DEMOKRITOS", IANUS Technologies, and ISIG - Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia took place today at the IANUS offices in Cyprus, with the purpose of preparing for the final demonstration of the SAFE-CITIES project and discussing how the SVA (Security Vulnerability Assessment) tool can be further developed to be ready for the end-users. #SVA #SafeCities #VulnerabilityAssessment

Today D-Visor will represent the SAFE-CITIES consortium during the Open Day AI4Gov in Madrid, showcasing our work on the Improved Risk-based Approach for the Protection of Public Spaces in European rural areas.

Today, in the context of the SAFE-CITIES project, representatives from the Cyprus Civil Defence acting as end-users, NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" and IANUS, along with a representative from the organisation team of the Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon, discussed the security measures to be put in place for the Larnaca Marathon in November. The outcomes of today's meeting will be used to further enhance the SVA (Security Vulnerability Assessment) tool. #SVA #VulnerabilityAssessment

Today marks the International Day of Remembrance of and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism. This day prompts us to commemorate the victims of attacks driven by a wide range of hateful ideologies, which injure, harm, and kill thousands of innocent people each year. EU-coordinated actions, including European-funded projects like SAFE-CITIES, are designed to enhance security and make our neighbourhoods more resilient to threats.
