Santoni was founded in 1975 in Corridonia, in the Marche region, as a high-end footwear laboratory following the intuition of Andrea Santoni. Thanks to his son Giuseppe, the company has evolved into one of the leading companies in the global luxury market, maintaining the authentic artisanal know-how, handed down from generation to generation. As Giuseppe shared during the panel: "Luxury today is no longer limited to the possession of rare or expensive goods, but extends to personalized, high-quality experiences rooted in innovation and environmental consciousness." In a discussion that spanned tradition, craftsmanship, sustainability, and the values that define the next generation of luxury consumers, he also reflected on the role values play in Italian design: "Creating beauty today also means being responsible—not only for the product itself, but for the people and the environment behind it.
