Online shopping isn’t just about clicking "Add to Cart" anymore—it’s about the 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 🛍️ As e-commerce evolves, one of the most powerful tools to engage customers is 𝘄𝗲𝗯 𝟯𝗗 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Imagine the impact of letting people fully interact with your products in real-time, rotating, zooming, and exploring every angle in high resolution. This isn’t just viewing; it’s storytelling. 3D lets you showcase each product’s story, quality, and features with a hands-on feel that makes shopping memorable. And here’s the kicker: 3D is perfect for today’s customers, especially younger ones who demand engaging content and tend to have short attention spans ⏱️. Rather than scrolling past static images, they get to play, explore, and 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 what makes your products unique. This fun interaction keeps them engaged longer on your site, increasing the likelihood of conversion and cutting down on abandoned carts—just the boost companies need! If you’re worried about tech hiccups during high traffic, we have that covered. Our 3D solutions are based on ultra-light models that load quickly on any device 📲. So even when your site is packed with eager shoppers, the experience remains smooth. No loading delays. No “Please refresh” frustration. This way, you can cater to peak traffic without stress. Let’s put it this way: imagine your online store is like an upscale showroom, minus the physical space. Your customers get an interactive, immersive tour of your product lineup right from their screens. Whether it’s a new bed, a comfy pair of shoes, or a piece of jewelry, they can explore every detail before they buy, just like they would in a store—only more fun 🎉. And yes, that interactivity builds confidence. When customers feel they truly know a product, they’re far less likely to abandon their carts out of uncertainty. Plus, you’ll stand out from competitors with a site that’s exciting and unforgettable. Shopping becomes not just a task but a mini-adventure they’ll want to come back for. With our web 3D solutions, you get to offer an engaging, seamless experience that attracts both seasoned online shoppers and the newer, tech-savvy generations who expect a little more 𝙬𝙤𝙬 from their shopping. Ready to make browsing an experience in and of itself? That’s the magic of 3D ✨ #Segnoprogetto #Ecommerce #Web3D #CustomerExperience #InteractiveShopping #IncreaseConversions #ProductVisualization #TechForRetail #BoostSales

Let's break down Meta's AR glasses demos 👓 Meta is taking augmented reality (AR) to the next level with its latest demos of 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻, a prototype for AR glasses that promises to be the future of wearable tech. But here’s the catch—you can’t buy Orion just yet. Instead, this is Meta giving us a preview of the kind of hardware it's working on for the next few years, and where AR glasses are headed. Spoiler alert: it’s a big step forward. Let’s break down what makes Orion such a game-changer and why it’s something to keep an eye on. 👀 You navigate the interface through eye and hand tracking, voice, and most importantly, the 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱. Here is where things get even more interesting. This device uses electromyography (EMG) to pick up neural signals from your wrist and translate them into commands for the glasses. You can pinch your fingers together to select an item or swipe across your palm to scroll through menus. 👆 It feels intuitive, and with haptic feedback—little vibrations that let you know when a gesture is recognized—it doesn’t take long to get comfortable using it. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg even hinted that the wristband will get better over time, potentially recognizing even the tiniest of motions, making interaction nearly effortless in the future. And to make sure the glasses stay lightweight and cool, the 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗰𝗸 offloads app logic from the glasses to help improve battery and reduce heat. The glasses are equipped with 𝘂𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 that beam digital images in front of your eyes. They have an impressive 𝟳𝟬-𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄—much wider than what’s currently available. The AR visuals are projected through 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀. While they’re not quite at the level of replacing your movie screen just yet, they’re crisp enough for reading text and interacting with virtual objects. With 7 cameras and sensors on the glasses, the system can sense and anchor objects in the real world, so virtual items stay locked in place as you move around. It's clear Meta has an idea of how people will use glasses like these, but the software is early. Mark Zuckerberg has been calling AR glasses the “holy grail” of tech—something that could eventually replace smartphones. 📱 Orion might signal that the future is not as far off as we think, but Meta still has work to do before any AR glasses hit the market. So, 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘄? Meta was planning on releasing Orion as a commercial product until they realized it couldn't be manufactured in a way that would justify an ultra-high-end price point. Instead of scrapping the project, Meta made around 1,000 prototypes for internal testing and demos. We suggest checking out The Verge's demo to get an idea of the glasses' potential. 👉 https://lnkd.in/dHQBm8Ea If you got this far, thanks for reading. Leave your thoughts below, and we'll see you in the next one, bye! 👋

A decade ago, this render would’ve been top-notch. But technology has evolved massively since then, and today, there’s a whole new level of realism expected in 3D rendering. Let's analyze it together! 🔍👀 1. Back then, lighting setups were simpler, with shadows that felt a bit flat. 🔦 Today, ray tracing and path tracing are transforming how light behaves. Shadows now have depth and subtle gradients, and light bounces off surfaces realistically, adding rich, dynamic illumination. 2. The materials in older renders often looked a bit too perfect, lacking real-world wear and tear. Tools like Substance Painter add those authentic details, making surfaces look genuinely tactile and far more convincing. 3. 3D models used to have pretty sharp edges. Modeling software today allows for more natural details and organic variations, giving scenes a more lifelike feel. 4. Rendering used to take days back then, but real-time engines have now changed that. Artists can see changes instantly, making the creative process faster and more fluid. ⚡ 5. While this render uses basic post-processing effects, today’s work benefits from techniques that add a cinematic polish, like bloom, depth-of-field, and subtle color grading. These finishing touches give modern renders a dynamic, professional look that feels much more refined. 🎬 6. AI wasn’t even part of the conversation a decade ago, but now, it’s a huge part of the process. AI-driven tools help speed up rendering times by clearing up noise in the image, even while the render is still in progress. This means artists get cleaner, sharper images without the long wait times. 🤖 7. 10 years ago, every render was meant to be static, but now, assets need to be ready for interactive AR and VR experiences. This shift demands that 3D work be optimized for real-time environments, where viewers can explore and interact with the scene, adding a new layer of immersion to digital art. 🌐 Compared to today’s standards, this render shows just how far 3D technology has come. The tools and techniques available now allow us to create visuals that don’t just look real—they feel real. At Segnoprogetto, we embraced these changes, pushing our limits to craft experiences that truly connect with viewers, whether through a screen, AR, or VR. #3DRendering #DigitalArt #CGI #AR #VR #RealismIn3D #RayTracing #PhysicallyBasedRendering #SubstancePainter #UnrealEngine5 #Photogrammetry #CreativeProcess #Segnoprogetto

Remember when smart glasses were just a sci-fi dream? 👾 Well, pinch yourself, because the future is here, and it's looking pretty stylish. The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses have proven that AI wearables can be both functional and fabulous. These shades aren't just easy on the eyes (pun intended). 👀 They're packing some serious smarts under that iconic Ray-Ban design. At the recent Meta Connect event, Mark Zuckerberg unveiled some exciting updates that'll make these glasses even smarter. Here's what's coming: 1. Shopping Reminders: Spotted something you like? Just tell your glasses to remind you about it later. It's like having a personal shopping assistant perched on your nose. 2. Live Transcription: Language barriers, begone! Soon, you'll be able to see real-time transcriptions of conversations in different languages. It's not perfect yet, but we're excited to see where this feature goes. 3. Be My Eyes Integration: In a heartwarming collaboration, Meta is partnering with Be My Eyes to help visually impaired users navigate their surroundings through live video assistance. For the fashion-conscious, Zuckerberg emphasized the importance of style: "The reality is that most of the time you're not using smart functionality, so people want to have something on their face that they're proud of and that looks good." He added, "They're great glasses. We keep updating the software and building out the ecosystem, and they keep on getting smarter and capable of more things." Meta's not stopping at glasses, either. They also announced the new Meta Quest 3S, a more budget-friendly version of their mixed-reality headsets, along with a host of AI capabilities across various platforms. 🥽 So, are you ready to step into the future? It's looking pretty bright from behind these shades. 😎 Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and don't forget to check out our page for deeper dives into the world of 3D tech and beyond! #Segnoprogetto #AR #VR #MR #XR #AugmentedReality #VirtualReality #MixedReality #ExtendedReality #Meta

Steppinto into the past with cutting-edge technology! ⚙✨ Five years ago, we had the opportunity to create an Augmented Reality experience for 𝘓'𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘐𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘨𝘯𝘰. This unique exhibition, hosted in the former Church of San Francesco in Udine, marked the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death, celebrating his genius by connecting it with the craftsmanship of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The exhibition featured 41 remarkable works by artisans from across the region, each inspired by Leonardo's studies—specifically his folio 638° V of the Atlantic Codex, where he envisioned a defense strategy for Friuli against Turkish invasions by harnessing the power of river waters. https://lnkd.in/dMVHxnM8 At Segnoprogetto, alongside our subsidiary Kjosul, we brought this historical narrative to life through four immersive Augmented Reality experiences. Visitors could interact with Leonardo's machines through tablets, turning his sketches into 3D realities. It was a beautiful example of how digital innovations can enhance our understanding and appreciation of craftsmanship and cultural heritage, making it accessible and playful. If you’re curious how 3D can revolutionize cultural heritage, check out our previous post about our VR project for the Longobard Temple here https://lnkd.in/dSyb8AS2 or see snippets here https://lnkd.in/dce8enNf Thanks for reading, and we’ll see you in the next one.
