Artificial Intelligence is becoming increasingly present in today’s professional world. It has very clear implications, e.g. when it comes to generating new models such as the one described in the attached article based on research made at ETH Zurich (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich), one that can predict where a chemical entity can be modified and how to test its pharmaceutical impact. AI is less predictible when it comes to assess new organizational paradigms. The attached document (thank you New Line Ricerche di Mercato) shows how the drastic reduction of General Practicioners is already affecting the Physician/Patient relationship (e.g. diagnosis made on-line!). AI will play a substantial role in shaping this evolving relationship. It is also influencing how the Healthcare industry will adapt to those new paradigms.
