S.S. Lazio

La S.S.Lazio è una delle squadre di calcio più antiche d'Italia e d'Europa. Il Club segue i valori morali quali lealtà, fairplay e sportività. Dal 1921 gode della prestigiosa benemerenza di Ente Morale, di cui viene insignito con Regio Decreto, e con le sue 63 discipline è la società sportiva più grande d'Europa. La Società Sportiva Lazio venne fondata a Roma il 9 gennaio 1900 a Piazza delle Libertà da Luigi Bigiarelli e altri 8 giovani atleti. Nata come società podistica vide negli anni un incremento di discipline sportive praticate, tra cui il calcio. I fondatori scelsero i colori bianco celesti in onore della Grecia, patria dei primi Giochi olimpici, e come emblema l’aquila, simbolo delle legioni romane. Il 19 luglio 2004 Claudio Lotito diventa il nuovo Presidente della S.S.Lazio. La Lazio ha conquistato i seguenti titoli: 2 Scudetti; 5 Supercoppe italiane; 1 Coppa delle Coppe; 7 Coppe Italia; 1 Supercoppa Europea. S.S. With extreme pride all Lazio fans remember that in 1921, by Royal Decree, was nominated “Ente Morale” and that with its 63 disciplines is the largest Sports Club in Europe. Società Sportiva Lazio is a Sports Club founded on the 9th of January 1900 at Piazza delle Libertà, Rome. Imagined by Luigi Bigiarelli and another eight young athletes as a running association, it has seen an increase of its practiced sports, including a football section. The founders choose white and blue as colors of the team in honor of Greece, homeland of the first modern Olympic Games, and as emblem they chose the symbol of the Roman Legions: the Eagle. On the 19th of July 2004 Mr.Claudio Lotito became the New President of S.S.Lazio. S.S.Lazio has won the following thropies: 2 Italian League titles; 5 Italian League Supercups; 1 Cup Winners’ Cup; 7 Italian League Cups; 1 European Supercup.
