The #StellaCommUnity came together to celebrate #PrideMonth at our London HQ – both a reflection on and recognition of the LGBTQIA+ community, within our teams and beyond. The evening featured the talents of drag performer Woe Adams and glitter artist Jayanti Carerra. Most importantly, it was a reminder of Stella McCartney’s commitment to creating an inclusive workplace – one where everyone feels welcome and able to be themselves. Tomorrow, we will join LVMH at the London Pride Parade; standing in solidarity with the LBGTQIA+ community and celebrating the success of how far acceptance has come, whilst remembering the work that still needs to be done.

Ostrich feathers are the most used of all wild plumes, with over 1 million of these birds killed annually for clothing and accessories. South Africa’s ostrich industry emits some 62,134 tonnes of carbon equivalent emissions each year, with both the production and processing of feathers being more climate-intensive than ostrich skin production.
