Good news from Bayer 04 Leverkusen! The club is very pleased by the relief brought by our autonomous robot mowers! STIGA machines are currently working once a day across #Bayer04’s pitches. It’s exciting to see how our technology is making a positive impact on their operations, reducing greenkeeping workloads while promoting sustainable, #SmartGardening practises. Our autonomous robots’ energy-efficient operation reduces CO2 emissions and, by using the mulching technique, they leave fine grass clippings as a natural fertilizer, enhancing soil quality - for beautifully curated and healthy patches of green. 🌱 Mähroboter bei Bayer 04: Unser Team freut sich über die Erleichterung 🤖 #Mähroboter revolutionieren das #Greenkeeping, indem sie nicht nur das Greenkeeper-Team von Bayer 04 entlasten, sondern auch die Umwelt schonen. Durch ihren energieeffizienten Betrieb reduzieren sie den CO2-Ausstoß und hinterlassen feine Grashalme als natürlichen Dünger, was die Bodenqualität verbessert. Der ständige Einsatz sorgt zudem für einen dichten, gesunden Rasen. Die Roboter schaffen außerdem eine große Erleichterung für das Wachstum des Rasens. Vor allem bei Neu-Einsaaten, da sie den Rasen ohne große Belastung mähen können. Auch energetisch sind die Helfer sehr effizient und brauchen wenig Strom. Die Roboter von STIGA können durch ihre Leichtigkeit und ohne großen Druck aufzubauen bis zu 2x pro Tag über den Rasen fahren, aktuell kommen Sie auf verschiedenen Bayer 04-Plätzen einmal pro Tag zum Einsatz.

Recently, we embarked on an important journey to enhance our Quality Management System by training new internal auditors in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015. By training our internal ISO 9001 auditors, we are elevating the quality of STIGA's products and services but also fostering a culture grounded in continuous improvement. This initiative will lead to advanced processes, increased monitoring, and a commitment to ongoing performance enhancement. More importantly, it’s an opportunity for our people to develop further their personal and professional skills. Our Roadshow in Austria set a new benchmark for the 2025 pre-season campaign! We recently wrapped up six events across stunning locations bringing together over 250 among key decision-makers from the retail, media and DIY’s sectors. Participants had the opportunity to discover the exciting developments we have in the pipeline regarding product innovations and market strategies. The feedback we received was invaluable, and it was rewarding to see how our innovations resonate with our customers. Il 1° ottobre abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare un gruppo di 15 studenti dell' Università Ca' Foscari Venezia presso la nostra sede di Castelfranco Veneto (TV). Durante la visita abbiamo presentato l'azienda e fatto conoscere l’ambiente di lavoro. Abbiamo guidato i partecipanti in un tour del nostro stabilimento produttivo, mostrando loro come realizziamo i nostri prodotti con passione e innovazione, e infine organizzato un avvincente #businessgame che ha permesso a tutti di diventare protagonisti attivi e vivere un'esperienza stimolante. In STIGA siamo convinti che iniziative come questa siano essenziali per costruire un ponte tra il mondo accademico e quello professionale. L’evento ha rappresentato infatti un'importante opportunità per entrare in contatto diretto con i talenti di domani, scoprirne le competenze oltre che aiutarli a valutare se STIGA possa essere il giusto contesto in linea con le loro aspirazioni lavorative. In 2023 we promoted our battery and electric powered garden tools from mowers to handheld tools that can be used in gardens of all sizes. This is in support of one of our most important projects: a transition to more sustainable products. As we design electric and battery-powered products with sustainability in mind, we also consider the other benefits we can bring to consumers, such as greener and quieter tools that use less energy and reduce pollution, emissions and the need for excessive fertiliser. The percentage of electric and battery-powered projects sold in 2023 reached 24% of overall sales, and we have more to do to reach our goal of 28% in 2024. Along with investing more than three-quarters of our R&D budget in these products, we are also planning targeted incentives and promotions to drive sales.
