The STM double-chamber grinding mill, with air selector, RTM series is the ideal solution for handling phyllosilicates, such as mica or talc and different types of clays, used for various applications for the production of everyday products. From cosmetics to body care, from food to automotive and rubber industry, the market demands ever higher requirements for such “nobles” minerals in order to have a high-quality end product. By using the RTM series mills, grinding of these lamellar minerals takes place according to the plan of rupture of amorphous structures or cleavage crystal bonds. This means high levels of fineness and high delamination, which in turn means high grinding energy. There are numerous advantages deriving from the application of this solution: compact design, limited space requirement, easy installation minimum maintenance reduced energy consumption due to the electronic operation control system possibility to adjust the particle size from the control panel even while the machine is running fully automatic operation process. Through protein shifting, it is possible to finely mill and classify a product to separate proteins from starch. The result is the production of special flours with a high protein concentration, which are an ideal base for producing products such as veggie burgers, baby food, milk substitutes, and dietary supplements without the use of chemical processes. 🌶️ For processing spices, STM MICROTEC successfully applies cryogenic grinding, as the pulverization processes normally performed at room temperature can be carried out at cryogenic temperatures with better quality of the ground product and a reduction in energy consumption.❄️ STM Microtec has developed two product lines for cryogenically grinding spices: the MP and MR series mills.  •        MP Series: Impact grinding, ideal for spices with high oil content, with adjustable fineness up to d.90<40µm.  •        MR Series: Ideal for more friable products, allows for obtaining a finished product in a single pass thanks to integrated selection. Join us at The Battery Show Europe 2024 and discover STM’s technology for battery industry! Discover our MJS Mill, a grinding unit which uses high pressure motive gas, and a dynamic classifier for the milled product particle selection. All in a single compact and versatile machine. The main operational feature is the reciprocal impact between the particles using orizontal and inclided nozzles.
