This past summer, European airports experienced a significant rise in activity growing faster than global growth trends, according to data from the Targa Telematics Observatory ✈️ Among the 3.5 million connected assets managed by our solutions are service vehicles, known as Ground Support Equipment (#GSE) including GPU (Ground Power Units), passenger buses and luggage trolleys. An analysis of the data from these vehicles reveals that in July and August 2024 alone, airport activity in Europe increased by 5% and 4%, respectively, compared to the same months in 2023, far exceeding the global growth rate of 2.8% in July, with August remaining steady.
