#IWTgreen - In IWT, the area dedicated to 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝘀 and their 𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 is growing more and more! Did you know that 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲, weighing about 0.1g, 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 in nectar? Each worker bee makes 7-13 trips per day to collect nectar, sometimes even up to 24 trips! 𝗧𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝟭𝗸𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟰 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵. For this reason, at Tecniplast, we have decided to do our part by promoting a program dedicated to employees interested in quitting smoking. Our goal is to support our colleagues in this important journey toward a healthier and more mindful life. Together, we can make a difference, because each individual's well-being contributes to the well-being of all. #TPeducational - Let's take a look at some of the wonderful 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 that 𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 has brought to the world: 1️⃣ Scientists created a virtual rat with an artificial brain that moves and reacts to stimuli like a real rodent, accurately predicting neural activity from real rats exhibiting the same behaviors. 2️⃣ A study found that a crucial brain signal linked to long-term memory falters in rats deprived of sleep, explaining why poor sleep disrupts memory formation. 3️⃣ A new study with mice proves that obesity increases the risk of many cancer types. These breakthroughs highlight the invaluable role of lab animal science in advancing our understanding of health and disease.
