Chi siamo
The Attico is the brainchild of Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini: women talking to women, imagining fashions as tools of expression, with a distinctive sense of daring. Established in 2016, The Attico is rooted in the complementary personalities of its creative directors and an idea of multiplicity as feminine strength.

NEAPOLIS - Fall Winter 2024 Contrasts define The Attico’s idea of femininity: hard and soft, romance and seduction, polish and roughness. While thinking of a place that could embody this spirit, Naples immediately came to mind. There is not quite another city like this in the world: the original melting pot, fragile in its strength, full of life and energy, dominated by the ominous yet lively presence of a volcano. Thereafter, the collection was imagined immersed in a Neapolitan scenario, drenched in a Neapolitan spirit and touched by the intense light of the city, desaturating colors as it creates a patina on buildings and stones. The Attico woman this season grows up into a Partenope kind of syren: a seductive creature who makes everyone fall in love as she moves; an urban being who can come along as strong as in the apparent toughness of her tailored pieces with broad shoulders and nipped waists, but who is actually full of romance, melancholy, and fragility as she veils her face shielding herself from intruding gazes. In other words, The Attico keeps exploring the idea of multiplicity, by looking at the timeless modernity of antiquity, another trait that in Naples is so very apparent.

Graphic lines, metallic luster, zebra stripes and a newfound softness come alive around the clock, suiting life indoors and outdoors, wild and tamed, at any hour of the day, day of the week, address and situation, always with a bang!

CLOSER - Valentine's Day Collection The Attico’s aim is to create a feeling around the brand, igniting and curating a flow of warm and connective human energy with its actions. This Valentine’s Day, it is time to try to regain some human contact celebrating an open and wide spanning idea of love - love being, in fact, the great human connector. A small collection of white unisex underwear with red kiss prints and rhinestones, an apple-shaped candle, a cocktail kit, writing paper and tattoos enables The Attico to play with symbology its own way, giving everything a little spark and a subtle twist. Overall, this is a celebration of human bonding, and love in the broader term as a way to live life.

THE HARDER THEY COME - Spring Summer 2024 Multiplicity is The Attico’s woman’s faculty. Indeed, it is a feminine character at large: there’s many different ways to be who we are, according to mood, whims, environment. Dressing, after all, is a way to morph not just the appearance, but also the mindset of a person. With this collection The Attico explores a harder, sharper side to the brand, imagining a harsh, industrial ambiance, and decking our woman accordingly to bring her sense of daring in new directions and heighten the contrast, so to speak, of sequins and concrete. The feathers, the embroideries and the unbridled self-consciousness are there, front and center, but the expression is tense, streamlined, stripped bare to the essence. There is a sleekness that mingles with the textural sensuality of mongolian lamb and chenille knitwear, a counterpoint of plain surfaces and tattoo- effect lace that we find energizing. The palette is a graphic play of black and white with accents of deep red, yellow, purple and silver. Accessories add more facets: decisive boots, sandals with straps coiling around the legs, mules with geometric heels, and then neatly designer handbags and padded soft clutches. We are introducing the hardline, according to THE ATTICO.

The Morning After: no longer, not yet; a moment of passage, a blooming of possibilities. Is there a more vibrant time? Blink, and you’ll miss it, and yet new things will happen in a flash. The Attico's first show happens on the street, where one is both a protagonist and a spectator, a voyeur and an actor; where paths cross, connections happen and feelings flutter. Our women finally come alive, in their plurality and manifold personalities.
