Chiara, our HR Manager and Valeria, our Cost Control Manager, joined “Ambassadors for change” in Rome last week. It was an event organized by Fondazione Libellula, at the end of a learning journey that trains ambassadors that could intervene in case of violence against women. Chiara and Valeria had the chance to meet many other ambassadors, joining a network that creates safe and supporting work environments. We’d like to thank Fondazione Libellula for this opportunity, and to all the other ambassadors from Italian companies that are so dedicated on such a delicate but important topic.

Established in 1998, Ubisoft Milan is the creative studio that developed Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Chi siamo
Established in 1998, over the years Ubisoft Milan has contributed to the development of some of the most important Ubisoft IPs such as Rayman®, Beyond Good & Evil®, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six®. After having pioneered motion-controls with titles such as MotionSports™ and Raving Rabbids® Alive and Kicking, Ubisoft Milan has collaborated to four installments of the Just Dance® series and has applied its skills to Assassin’s Creed® III Liberation, Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag® and Assassin’s Creed® Rogue. In recent years, the collaboration with Ubisoft Paris has led Ubisoft Milan to contribute to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands and Breakpoint, and to conceive and work in partnership on Mario + Rabbids® Kingdom Battle - a Nintendo Switch® exclusive turn-based combat adventure, featuring a team up of iconic Nintendo and Ubisoft characters that join forces to save the Mushroom Kingdom. After the global success of Mario + Rabbids® Kingdom Battle, Ubisoft Milan has worked on a massive DLC of the game featuring Donkey Kong, one of the most appreciated Nintendo® characters of all time. In October 2022, we released a new chapter in the Mario + Rabbids® saga: the critically acclaimed Sparks of Hope, and we will support the game with 3 DLCs that will be released throughout 2023.

We are happy to contribute to Girls Code It Better again, with two mentors this time! Last year the program supported a group of Italian high school girls to learn coding and they developed many interesting prototypes of games at the end of it. We will participate to the opening event of the new edition in a couple of weeks, hoping to inspire many other girls to enroll.
#GirlsCodeItBetter #STEM #Empowerment #CodeWeek #CodingForGirls #DigitalInnovation #Inclusione Per partecipare all'evento del 14 ottobre potete iscrivervi qui: https://lnkd.in/dHM-4sft

ArtStation featured a nice Art Blast of Star Wars Outlaws. It includes many assets created by team members that worked on the project, and some of them are from our studio. If you love Star Wars, it is an interesting way to take a glimpse behind the scenes of the creation of the game.

Our 3D Animator Margherita came back from a vacation in Japan with a lovely surprise: a copy of the issue of Famitsu that featured Star Wars Outlaws, both on the amazing cover and in a very long and detailed article, covering many aspects of the game.

“When I started making my first little games, I discovered that I enjoyed not just playing games but also creating them”. Federico Ciardi, Senior Gameplay Programmer, has always been very passionate about video games and computer science, so “this made me want to pursue a career in the games industry, where I could use my computer science skills to make fun and immersive experiences for players. After completing a post-graduate course in game development, I had the chance to intern at Ubisoft Milan”, more than 4 years ago. “During my internship, I was truly impressed by the working environment and the exciting projects I had the opportunity to contribute to. And even if I had limited knowledge of the existing code base and the processes of a large organization, I was able to put in my best effort and make significant progress!”. Here are some of the features he worked on during the development of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope!
