UNifyHR is a generative AI tool transforming HR operations across the UN family! 🚀 🤖 The UNifyHR Chatbot enables HR teams to access essential policy information in multiple languages, enhancing efficiency and response accuracy. This innovation is a product of interagency collaboration. Initially conceptualized by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, UNifyHR was developed with technical support from UNICC and the participation of 13 UN agencies: International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), International Civil Aviation Organization, IOM - UN Migration, International Telecommunication Union, UNAIDS, UNDP, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, UNRWA, UN Women, and World Food Programme. 🌐 For a safer Web 3.0 that empowers users to control their digital identity! Last week, UNICC proudly joined the panel discussion "Web 3.0 and Scaling Impact" during the #DCFintechWeek in Washington, D.C. The session explored real-world use cases and pilot projects where Web 3.0 makes a difference – with insights from our esteemed partners IDBLab, WFP, and the World Bank. Elena Sierra, Business Relationship Manager at UNICC, presented the UN Digital ID Programme– an impactful initiative designed to provide the UN workforce with a system-wide digital identity from onboarding to retirement. Sponsored by six UN organizations (the UN Secretariat, UNDP, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNJSPF and WFP) and with UNICC as the technology partner, this solution is an interesting Web 3.0 use case that gives UN personnel control over their data, ensures tamper-proof records through decentralized blockchain technology, and enables interoperability between organizations without being invasive. 🪪 The UN Digital ID acts as a digital wallet where users can store and use their identity data in different business scenarios. Furthermore, the solution allows the expansion to potentially unlimited scenarios, aspiring to bring considerable process efficiencies in the long term.
