Full Crew Needed for Research Vessel Venture Ship Management Europe is seeking a motivated and experienced crew to join a coastal research vessel deploying in late August! The Vessel: - Italian flagged - Below 500 GT - Operating within Italian coastal waters The Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to valuable scientific research while exploring stunning Italian coastlines. You'll join a dynamic team dedicated to collecting vital data and ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel. The Positions: - Captain: Experienced leader with a strong safety focus and in-depth knowledge of Italian coastal navigation. - Chief Engineer: Highly skilled in maintaining and operating marine engines and auxiliary systems. - Chief Officer: Provide operational support to the Captain and oversee deck operations. - Second Engineer: Assist the Chief Engineer with maintenance and operation of vessel systems. - 2 Able Bodied Seamen: Perform various deck duties, able to cook for the crewmembers and ensuring the vessel's safe and efficient operation. Qualifications (all positions): - Valid Italian maritime licenses and certificates (STCW 95 compliance required). - Experience working on Italian flagged vessels (preferred). - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Fluency in Italian is essential.
