A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE AT THE ANNUAL WINE TASTING IN LONDON WITH CA' BOLANI WINES At the Annual Wine Tasting, organized in collaboration with the UK Sommelier Association in London, we had the pleasure of presenting the prestigious wines from our #GardenOfVines and leading a masterclass dedicated to the winemaking culture preserved and interpreted by our estate. The tasting was led by Master of Wine Christopher Burr and Federica Zanghirella, alongside the Director of Ca' Bolani Estate, Roberto Marcolini, and our Brand Ambassador, Denni Di Rosa. 40 wine enthusiasts had the opportunity to taste select vintages of our most representative wines: Aquilis and Opimio. #Aquilis is an expressive #Sauvignon Blanc, grown in the vineyards of Ca' Bolani, immersed in the terroir of Aquileia. This Cru, presented in the 2014, 2016, and 2018 vintages, takes its name from the ancient Celtic settlement, which, thanks to the Romans, became a center of great importance in the empire's winemaking history. With its bottle aging, it combines grace and intensity, evolving beautifully over time. #Opimio, on the other hand, tells the two-thousand-year-old story of the Roman consul Opimio, a great wine enthusiast. This Cru, which best represents the terroir of the DOC Aquileia, is made from #PinotBianco grapes. The 2016, 2018, and 2020 vintages showed how Opimio is a wine capable of offering emotions both young and with age, thanks to careful vinification and aging in large wooden casks. An ode to the culture of the DOC Aquileia and its historic roots: from Friuli Venezia Giulia to the rest of the world.
