Digital Advertising Specialist

JOB PURPOSE

The Digital Advertising team plays a crucial role at organizing and optimizing Digital Media activations, contributing to the growth of D2C revenues; as a Digital Advertising Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the Digital Acquisition Manager to define advertising objectives, plan, implement, monitor & optimize campaigns across different digital channels.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with MSC managers in the different local markets, evaluating their business needs, challenges, and opportunities, and subsequently planning, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing Performance Marketing Campaigns tailored to local needs while aligning with headquarters' global objectives and expectations;

• Set, monitor and achieve Digital Advertising & Sales KPIs ensuring the digital media agency team delivers against these goals and contractual requirements;

• Lead internal meetings, QBRs, annual reviews, providing strategic insights and recommendations based on campaign performance, website analytics, market conditions, and the competitive environment to the media agency and the management team;

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Creative, Social Media, Data & Analytics, SEO, Contents, Accounting, Product, and other agency units working on MSC overall digital strategy, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality output in line with yearly goals of the overall digital sales;

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital advertising to ensure our strategies remain competitive;

• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase the revenue flow from existing strategies while improving KPIs, also adding innovative solutions and testing new innovations in the AdTech and MarTech ecosystem;

• Maintain strong control over resourcing and profitability of the accounts, ensuring HQ and Countries are retained profitably and ensure compliance with advertising policies and guidelines across all platforms and regions;

• Be the escalation point for any concerns raised by the internal team or local markets and review current operational flows and propose/implement improvements where relevant;

• Elaborate and prepare yearly cost budgeting in cooperation with countries and HQ stakeholders based on MSC Cruises digital and B2C revenue objectives;

• Check and archive Invoices of Media Platforms, Agencies and other Digital vendors.


QUALIFICATIONS

•Proven positive track records in Planning, executing, measuring & optimizing Digital Campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, X (Twitter Ads), SA360, DV360, Xandr, Teads, Taboola, Outbrain;

•Experience with analytics and ad-servers tools, such as UA360, GA4, Matomo Analytics, Adobe Analytics, CM360, and all their relevant reporting and KPIs analysis;

•Fluent English;

•Proficient in MS Office and data visualization tools, such as Power Bi, Datorama, Google Data Studio, Tableau;

•BA or MA or a professional course attended in Digital Marketing is preferred;

•Strong communication, collaboration, excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills;

•Self-motivated, welcome new challenges and able to work under own initiative, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors;

•Solid budget management experience; ability to uncover trends in data and analysis and provide strategic recommendations;

•Attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic industry and with excellent skills in managing, training, and upskilling team members.
