Alessio Cotroneo, founder and president of Istituto Liberale, won our Think Tank Shark Tank pitch competition at Europe Liberty Forum 2024! This award and its grant prize will support his organization as they invest in their project, "Economics in Schools: Teaching What Public Schools Don't." This initiative aims to fill the gap in Italian high schools' curriculum by providing comprehensive economics education. Through engaging workshops and interactive learning experiences, the project will address prevalent misconceptions about the market and capitalism. Its ultimate goal is to cultivate a generation that values economic freedom, empowering them to pursue innovation and personal success in a free society. With this win, they can continue making a difference, and students can become proactive defenders of freedom.
