💪**Concluso il percorso UDL con gli insegnanti del Liceo Rosmini di Rovereto: un'opportunità di riflessione e crescita.** Sede di Future Education Modena 🤩Ieri abbiamo finalizzato un entusiasmante percorso di formazione con gli insegnanti del Liceo Rosmini di Rovereto, focalizzato sull’approccio Universal Design for Learning (UDL). L'incontro finale è stato un momento intenso di riflessione su un tema fondamentale: *l’inclusione*. 🧠♥️L'UDL non si tratta solo di progettare attività che permettano a tutti gli studenti di accedere all’informazione, ma di adottare un *paradigma culturale* che pone al centro la *diversità* come valore. L'inclusione, infatti, non è solo un insieme di strategie educative, ma un vero e proprio *cambio di sguardo*, che implica un cambiamento profondo nel modo di accogliere le differenze, puntando a risaltare i punti di forza di ciascuno. 👏Un grande grazie agli insegnanti del Liceo Rosmini per il loro impegno e per la volontà di costruire insieme un ambiente di apprendimento significativo e rispettoso! #UDL #inclusione #educazione #formazione #diversità #innovazioneeducativa #cambiamentoculturale #

A luglio, durante la nostra Summer School del Progetto Ambasciatori, lo abbiamo chiesto a relatori e partecipanti. 🏆 Daura van Vuuren and Louise Bøttcher were the Bevica Scholarship winners of the main grants for respectively students and lecturers in 2022. This year, they have been using their grants to travel the world doing their research. Recently, they met up in San Francisco. Daura, who explores the role of universal design in the intersectionality of disability rights and climate action has travelled across the U.S., Canada, Indonesia, Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand. She met up with her fellow-scholarship awardee Louise in San Francisco. Louise is visiting Stanford University, where she’s studying how Universal Design can be applied in higher education to include students with disabilities. “We were amazed to find so many similarities in being Bevica Scholarship travelers, even though our projects are about two different topics. The feeling of learning something new all the time; meeting very different people with an open mind; interesting and knowledgeable people - people with very different experiences - and learning from them. It is a role inherent to the Scholarship Programme, but we both felt strongly how the urge to follow the task we have each set upon ourselves with our projects has forced us to broaden our minds,” Louise reflects. Daura agrees: “The Bevica Scholarship grant has taken me all over the world, enabling me to meet experts, practitioners, and activists to gather their experiences and insights. Everywhere I go, the Scholarship Programme receives high praise for creating such a collaborative and empowering learning environment and promoting the transfer of knowledge internationally.” 🌎 Do you also want to take your research project around the world? The accessibility left by the Paris Olympics in Paris The Paris Olympics saw the implementation of many inclusive measures for people with disabilities, such as the introduction of the latest technology (Touch2See) that allows visually impaired people to experience the thrill of ball games. Among the infrastructures that are likely to remain in Paris are the barrier-free ramps at bus stops. Over the three years since 2021, barrier-free ramps have been installed at 1,750 bus stops. The development of such infrastructure is not a one-time effort but is expected to continue supporting the elderly and parents with strollers sustainably.
