Il mondo del lavoro vive oggi di rappresentazioni polarizzate. Da un lato si vuole proteggere gli spazi della vita dal lavoro. È l’esperienza da “fine dell’incantesimo”, fine cioè dell’illusione che il lavoro sia la strada maestra per realizzarsi nella vita, cui subordinare ogni altro desiderio o esigenza. Dall’altro si parla di "wholeness", di pienezza della nostra identità anche nel lavoro. Giochiamo tutti un’unica lunga partita che non si può pretendere di vivere a compartimenti stagni: portiamo tutta intera la nostra personalità ed esperienza sul lavoro, e portiamo il nostro vissuto lavorativo nella sfera personale. Entrambe queste rappresentazioni ci dicono qualcosa di vero e probabilmente dovremmo affrontarle senza la pretesa di “risolvere il problema” scegliendo l’una o l’altra. Il Polarity Management insegna che alcuni problemi non sono risolvibili con logica binaria, o l’una o l’altra prospettiva. I poli opposti definiscono piuttosto un campo energetico in cui siamo chiamati ad agire trovando l’equilibrio fra dimensioni percepite come opposte: l’una 𝑒 l’altra invece che l’una 𝑜 l’altra. Il Wellbeing, per non restare una semplice buzzword aziendale, deve lavorare in questo campo energetico che da un polo abilita nelle persone la capacità di agire con motivazione (orientandosi ad uno scopo, lavorando in autonomia e con padronanza, come dice Daniel Pink in Drive) e dall’altro permette loro di curare lo spazio del non-lavoro, spazio vitale sorgivo per la stessa produttività lavorativa. L’avevano capito i latini con prospettiva ribaltata rispetto al nostro approccio: il lavoro, gli affari, il business, 𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘶𝘮, erano definiti in negativo rispetto all’𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘶𝘮, dimensione improduttiva e insieme paradossalmente generativa di ogni valore. #wellbeing Ayros, Trainect - Wellbeing Revolution, Eleonora Valè, Alberto Ronco, Matteo Sola, GoodJob!, Silvia Pagliuca

Molto interessante! Per quanto vogliamo fare resistenza nel mantenere l'area lavoro separata dall'area della vita personale secondo il mio punto di vista non c'è via di scampo. Viviamo in un mondo in cui domina l'integrazione tra ogni cosa e come possiamo pensare che le aree della nostra vita non siano integrate tra di loro? Capisco che per molti è difficile accettarlo soprattutto perché non siamo preparati su come gestirlo e su come affrontarlo. Il contributo che sento di condividere è quello di smettere di fare resistenza al cambiamento che tanto nessuno può fermare. Se vogliamo veramente sentirci felici dobbiamo cambiare il nostro approccio e abbracciare il cambiamento con tanta curiosità e flessibilità. Trovare l'equilibrio in uno scenario di integrazione potrà risultare indubbiamente più sfidante... ma questa è la realtà e l'unica cosa che possiamo fare è collaborare reciprocamente per trovare le soluzioni nell'interesse di tutti. Come nei mesi precedenti, anche nel nuovo anno continuerò su questo profilo e con Lang&Partners-Younique Human Solutions. Milan, Paris. a raccontare il mondo del lavoro che cambia. Più che su una lista di trend, per il 2024 vorrei scommettere su un tema di cui probabilmente cominceremo a parlare nei prossimi mesi: il passaggio dal #worklifebalance al #worklifefit. Negli ultimi anni il work life balance ci ha permesso di riscoprire il nostro tempo libero, di rendere il nostro lavoro più flessibile per coltivare le nostre passioni e rispondere alle esigenze personali. L’impressione è che oggi queste politiche non siano più sufficienti per dare e pretendere una vita lavorativa che sia davvero felice e appagante. Credo dunque che sia necessario cominciare a parlare di work life fit: la vita lavorativa e quella privata non devono essere considerati come due compartimenti stagni, che si devono bilanciare (come avviene con il modello del work-life-balance), ma come un unico flusso capace di rispondere alle esigenze di ogni dipendente. Mentre con il work life balance siamo portati ad adeguare la nostra vita privata alle esigenze lavorative, questo nuovo modello ci permetterà di essere proattivi e di poter pianificare in anticipo sia la sfera personale che quella professionale. La settimana lavorativa corta, orari sempre più flessibili, mezze giornate, digital detox e micropause: sono alcuni degli elementi che le aziende potrebbero nel tempo implementare per permettere ai propri dipendenti, soprattutto i più giovani, di trovare il proprio work life fit. #tips #lavoro #humanresources

Lavorare per vivere, non vivere per lavorare: l'importanza del tempo libero per i lavoratori In una società dove il lavoro assume spesso un ruolo centrale, è cruciale ricordare che la vita va oltre la carriera. Recenti studi confermano che chi è attento al proprio equilibrio lavora in modo più sereno e motivato, curando la propria salute fisica e mentale. ✨ Le statistiche del sondaggio “Come cambia il mercato del lavoro: nuovi scenari e aspettative” di Valtellina Lavoro parlano chiaro: la richiesta di una buona work-life balance è al secondo posto tra i criteri di scelta di un nuovo lavoro. La percentuale è più alta tra le donne, con il 59% rispetto al 50% degli uomini. Curiosamente, per i giovani della Generazione Z, il buon equilibrio scende al terzo posto, dopo la remunerazione e la crescita professionale. Abbiamo sfatato un mito? Cosa consigliamo quindi? ✅ Contrastare il bias che “chi parla di buon equilibrio non ha voglia di fare”. Leggo sempre più spesso post che si contrappongono alla tendenza che vede le persone, soprattutto i più giovani, mettere in discussione l'impostazione del lavoro che va per la maggiore. Quella fatta di 40 ore settimanali chiusi da qualche parte, che sia un ufficio o una fabbrica. A volte le consapevolezze arrivano prepotenti e ci aprono gli occhi in uno schiocco di dita. Poterci confrontare continuamente con gli altri e la loro visione, grazie al web, contribuisce a questo "risveglio". Di cosa abbiamo paura? Di perdere produttività? Pensiamo davvero (ma davvero) di essere al mondo per produrre? 🌏 Per passare la quasi totalità della settimana al lavoro tra spostamenti, orario canonico e straordinari? Cosa c'è di sbagliato nel comprendere che il lavoro può essere una parte della vita, in equilibrio con le altre? ll concetto di #worklifebalance non ha una ricetta perfetta o universale. Ognuno di noi ha esigenze e aspirazioni uniche, rendendo il bilanciamento ideale Vita-Lavoro puramente soggettivo. Indipendentemente dalla formula perfetta, un buon equilibrio vita-lavoro ha effetti positivi perché: 🔶 Aumenta la serenità nei collaboratori. 🔶 Migliora il benessere di tutta l'azienda. Pensiamo che l'equilibrio "perfetto" non sia una distribuzione uniforme delle ore tra lavoro e vita privata. È piuttosto la #flessibilità di dedicarsi serenamente al lavoro mantenendo lo spazio per la vita personale, familiare e per dedicarsi ai propri #hobby. Quindi, è importante: ✅ Avere flessibilità nel lavoro e tempo per sé fuori dall'ufficio. ✅ Ricevere supporto per gestire responsabilità, come prendersi cura dei genitori anziani o più fragili. 🤝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢 𝐥𝐚 𝐭𝐮𝐚 𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐞! E se il work life balance fosse un’emerita ca…volata ?!? Da qualche mese mi capita di ricevere questa domanda da diversi clienti. Sono imprenditori e manager che hanno abbracciato la leadership consapevole, la sfida ad attrarre i migliori talenti, le difficoltà a trattenere le risorse, il brivido dello scontro generazionale sul lavoro. Uno di loro mi ha fatto riflettere su un aspetto : “Marco, stiamo creando un ambiente di lavoro di persone viziate e che non saranno mai contente, nelle discussioni il lavoro e i doveri non sono mai al centro del confronto. Un po’ come con i figli. Per non perderli e avere il loro bene siamo disposti a viziarli all’inverosimile, ma poi tanto i figli saranno sempre arrabbiati con i genitori per quello che non hanno e non apprezzano quello che fai per loro, ma soprattutto non saranno mai pronti alle sfide della vita.” Smartworking, welfare aziendale, premi e incentivi, settimana corta … non bastano ad avere un ambiente di lavoro sereno e stimolante. Il collante del concetto di “work life balance” è sempre e solo la responsabilità. La responsabilità dei datori di lavoro, imprenditori e manager di implementare i modelli organizzativi e supportare le risorse. La responsabilità dei collaboratori e dipendenti di raggiungere i risultati e di contribuire alla sostenibilità economica e produttiva aziendale. Senza collante ed equilibrio tra responsabilità delle parti, tutti gli approcci alle modalità di lavoro flessibile falliscono. Il “work life balance” è tale solo in presenza di equilibrio, in assenza di questo elemento i risultati sono fallimentari. #sli #futureofwork #worklifebalance

Un giovane su tre sarebbe disposto a cambiare lavoro per migliorare il proprio equilibrio tra vita privata e professionale. (LinkedIn, dati su Gen Z, 2023). Ma quali sono le principali sfide che le persone affrontano durante le loro giornate lavorative? 1) Un eccessivo carico di lavoro. Lavorare troppe ore o avere scadenze strette costanti può rendere difficile dedicare abbastanza tempo ed energia alle attività personali e alle relazioni. 2) La mancanza di flessibilità lavorativa può complicare la conciliazione tra gli impegni personali con le richieste del lavoro. 3) L’essere connessi costantemente. L'uso pervasivo della tecnologia può ostacolare la disconnessione dal lavoro. Le e-mail, le chiamate e le notifiche possono interrompere il tempo libero e invadere la sfera personale, creando difficoltà nel separare i confini tra lavoro e vita privata. 4) Le pressioni sociali e culturali. Le aspettative sociali e culturali possono influenzare il modo in cui le persone gestiscono il bilanciamento tra vita privata e lavoro. Ad esempio, qualcuno può sentirsi obbligato a dedicare più tempo al lavoro per dimostrare impegno o perseguire il successo professionale, anche a discapito della vita personale. Le organizzazioni, tra cui posso testimoniare anche @INGO & @XCALLY, stanno riconoscendo sempre di più l'importanza di promuovere un equilibrio sano per i propri dipendenti e stanno adottando politiche e misure per favorirlo. E PERCHÉ NON LAVORARE MENO? Il lavoro è una parte fondamentale della vita umana, un mezzo per guadagnarsi da vivere, per contribuire alla società e per realizzare i propri obiettivi. Tuttavia, il lavoro può anche essere fonte di stress, di insoddisfazione, di alienazione. In Italia, circa 2 milioni di lavoratori restano sul posto di lavoro per 50 ore a settimana, contro le 40 ore previste, 8 ore al giorno per 5 giorni. Si tratta del 9,4% del numero degli occupati totali, che corrisponde a circa 23 milioni di persone (Eurostat). Il tempo dedicato al lavoro ha un impatto significativo sulla vita delle persone. Ha portato a un aumento dello stress, dell'ansia e della depressione. Ha anche ridotto il tempo libero a disposizione delle persone, che possono dedicare meno tempo alla famiglia, agli amici, agli hobby e alla propria crescita personale. In questo contesto, si sta facendo strada l'idea di una decrescita felice, un movimento che propone una riduzione del tempo dedicato al lavoro, senza rinunciare al benessere. Lavorare meno può avere numerosi benefici. Può migliorare la salute mentale e fisica. Quando le persone hanno più tempo libero, possono dedicarlo a attività che le rendono felici e soddisfatte, come passare del tempo con i propri cari, fare attività fisica, dedicarsi agli hobby o alla crescita personale. Lavorare meno può ridurre l'inquinamento e il consumo di risorse. Quando le persone lavorano meno, consumano meno beni e servizi, il che ha un impatto positivo sull'ambiente. Lavorare meno può promuovere la giustizia sociale. Quando le persone lavorano meno, c'è più spazio per la creatività, l'innovazione e la partecipazione democratica. Naturalmente, non è una soluzione facile. Ci sono diversi ostacoli da superare, tra cui la resistenza delle aziende, la paura del cambiamento e la convinzione che lavorare di più sia sinonimo di successo. Un altro aspetto da considerare quando si parla di lavoro è il consumismo, un modello di società in cui il consumo di beni e servizi è considerato valore fondante. Il consumismo è strettamente legato al lavoro. Quando le persone lavorano di più, hanno più soldi da spendere, il che alimenta il consumo. Il consumismo contribuisce all'inquinamento e allo spreco di risorse, può portare a un aumento della disuguaglianza sociale, può generare ansia e insoddisfazione nelle persone, obbligate a consumare sempre di più per sentirsi felici. Il filosofo e matematico Bertrand Russell (1872-1970) sosteneva che lavorare 8 ore è una vita da schiavi. Russell riteneva che il lavoro dovrebbe essere ridotto a 4 ore al giorno, in modo da lasciare alle persone più tempo libero per dedicarsi ad attività più significative. Russell era un convinto sostenitore della decrescita felice. Riteneva che la felicità non si raggiunge lavorando di più, ma vivendo una vita più semplice e più libera. (A.
