Our first Group Impact Report 2023 is now online. This document highlights the challenges faced and significant goals achieved, marking another step forward in our ESG journey. The Report is structured around nine common benefit objectives outlined in our sustainability policy statement. 2023 was a year of major milestones, including our B Corp certification, which recognizes our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint, create positive impacts in the community, and ensure the well-being of people and society. This achievement, involving all 11 Kerakoll locations, demonstrates that it is possible to integrate environmental and social considerations strategically into business projects. Over the past year, we have carried on integrating #sustainability into our business strategies. This commitment has led to excellent results in relation to the main #ESG evaluation parameters, some of which I would like to mention.   We have completed the creation of the GHG emissions inventory according to the ISO 14064-1 standard throughout the Group, thereby creating a valuable store of information on our organization and our value chain, enabling us to implement even more targeted actions to reduce our carbon footprint. We have also achieved 100% use of #renewableenergy on all our sites in Italy. This, combined with other measures, has led to a reduction in our total emissions of more than 600 tons of CO2.   Over 2023 we focused increasingly not only on inclusiveness and diversity, but also on the growth, well-being and safety of our employees. We have seen an increase in the percentage of women in our workforce (46%) and have almost doubled the hours of per-capita training provided (39 hours in the year just ended).   We know that there is still a long way to go, but we are convinced that the strategy in place and our clarity of vision are solid foundations on which to continue building our #Elica as leader of change and promoter of sustainable initiatives in line with our stakeholders’ expectations.   To learn more about our goals and projects, take a look at our 2023 Sustainability Report!

From ESG Accreditation to ESG Qualification: an updated tool to qualify as a truly sustainable 🌍 partner With the entry into force of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, organizations in all economic sectors will become responsible for actual or potential negative impacts on the environment and human rights arising not only from their own activities but also from business relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. ▶️ What do you mean? All third parties in the company's supply chain – which also include professional firms – will have to comply with the same ESG standards of conduct as companies in order to be among their business partners. 🔎 In this scenario, our ESG Accreditation has always been a practical and effective tool, which allows firms to provide the companies with which they collaborate with a third-party and independent attestation of their commitment to sustainability. In light of the new regulatory developments and the achievement by 4c of B Corp certification, we confirm to the market our increasing attention to issues concerning internal sustainability and compliance with the best ESG standards of our business proposal. 🎯 In this perspective, today the service evolves into ESG Qualification, underlining the importance for professional firms to qualify themselves in front of companies as reliable partners and fully compliant with ESG standards.
