We recently had the incredible opportunity to listen to the AP-01, a superb analog turntable designed by YUKI Precision Co., Ltd.! YUKI Precision is a precision machining company located right near AKM's Shin-Yokohama Act Center. It was a pleasure to spend time with President Nagamatsu and his team, who share a deep passion for sound. We were also honored to welcome Mr. Suenaga, Executive Director of the Japan Audio Society (JAS), through his connection with President Nagamatsu. Our journey to elevate audio culture from Shin-Yokohama has only just begun! Now, you may be wondering—since the AP-01 is an analog player, what does it have to do with AKM's products? While it may seem unrelated, the pursuit of great sound is something both YUKI Precision and AKM are deeply committed to. Experiencing both digital and analog sound is essential for exploring the full spectrum of audio. Since AKM’s Audio Library didn’t have much in the way of analog records, we were lucky to have Mr. Koichi Shima, a friend of AKM and a DJ as well as a music and film writer, join us.
