With so much buzz around emerging technologies here at Salesforce#DF24, I caught up with Deloitte’s Chief Technology Officer - as well as fellow Cincinnati Bengals & University of Notre Dame fan - Bill Briggs for a mini mic conversation at Dreamforce 2024 to discuss these latest trends, analyze how businesses are currently adopting and scaling this technology to elevate the customer experience, and discuss how CEOs and CTOs can collaborate to lead successful emerging technology strategies.

Another big buzz item this week is the upcoming announcement by Deloitte Digital, Salesforce, and Apple. Our joint effort to bring the immersive capabilities of Apple Vision Pro to field service clients is finally being unveiled.
Throughout the week, we’ll showcase the transformative applications of this technology for real-world scenarios, including remote technical guidance and 3D tutorials for professionals like surgeons and mechanics to help with on-site work and complicated operations. This unlocks incredible potential for professionals like technical surgeons and mechanics to receive immersive guidance when performing high-stakes repairs and servicing.
Salesforce’s SDK for visionOS and Apple Vision Pro have been core technologies for enabling remote guidance. Together, we’re delivering a new level of efficiency and accuracy while reducing costs and geographical constraints.
To me, this is a perfect example of our team’s innovative thinking combined with the emerging tech power of our collaborators to bring the power of spatial computing to so many more organizations.
We’ll be chatting about the incredible potential that spatial computing tech unlocks for new collaborations and solving complex problems.
