That is why this year we have supported yet another important initiative— the opening of a modern arts classroom at School No. 5 named after Lyudmyla Ivanivna Buhaievska in Horishni Plavni. Thanks to the fruitful collaboration of the community and the support of the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant Charity Fund, the former music classroom has been transformed into an innovative artistic space that inspires students to develop their creativity. The updated classroom has become a true art gallery, where students explore Renaissance art recreated on the walls in the form of frescoes by Michelangelo and Raphael, as well as depictions of the famous Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. Cutting-edge technologies, particularly an interactive whiteboard powered by artificial intelligence, allow students to immerse themselves more deeply in the creative process. We wish all young talents inspiration in the new academic year!

Speaking about #femaleentrepreneurship across Ukraine, Ferrexpo Board Member Natalie Polischuk presented at the Women's Entrepreneurship EXPO 2024 in Kyiv this week. Natalie observed that a particularly inspiring outcome were the many stories about women continuing to develop their businesses in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine, creating jobs and providing services to the population that are now so critical. In her presentation, Natalie left the participants with 3 key messages: 1. Dream big and do not be afraid to be ambitious 2. Times of crisis can provide new opportunities. Be nimble and open to these opportunities 3. Ferrexpo continues to support sports events aimed at the development of young people and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. This year, the third regional basketball tournament was held in Horishniy Plavnyi, which brought together 16 teams from Poltava region and Kirovohrad region. The tournament was distinguished by intense matches, fierce competition and a high level of teamwork. Importantly, however, this event had a special significance because it was dedicated to the memory of Oleksiy Khanilevych — our colleague, professional athlete and defender of Ukraine. Oleksiy worked at Ferrexpo, played basketball to a high level and gave his life defending Ukraine. During the tournament, all those present honoured his memory with a moment of silence, and his mother, Iryna Pavlivna, received a symbolic gift. Ferrexpo is proud to support such initiatives that unite the sports community and preserve the memory of heroes who gave their lives for our future.

Ferrexpo has successfully completed its “Your Opinion” survey, which ran until October 11th. This marks the fourth time we've conducted this survey, with the aim of hearing from every employee, gaining a deeper understanding of their needs, and enhancing working conditions. We are convinced that this is far more than just a numbers exercise – the feedback we receive provides invaluable insights that help us create an environment where everyone feels valued and connected to a shared purpose. By partnering with the independent firm WorkBuzz, we ensured full anonymity, encouraging open and honest feedback. We remain dedicated to being a top employer, striving to offer our team opportunities for professional development and ensuring they feel supported at every stage of their journey.

"Development is a nice bonus if you really love what you do," says Anna Vorop. Anna's career at Yeristovo Mining started with inventory management in the warehouse department. From 2014 to 2021, she headed the warehouse acceptance, delivery and shipment management bureau, and since 2021 she has been in charge of the production resources department. Anna enjoys implementing solutions that simplify production processes. The highlight for her was the implementation of the IFS module at the central warehouse, which reduced the time spent searching for inventory and made the work of the staff easier. She is inspired by the fact that she can share her ideas freely and will receive the necessary support from management. Anna also praises Ferrexpo's corporate culture, which promotes professional growth and development. We appreciate our employees and their contribution to the development of our company. We continue to work together for the victory of our country, supporting each other.

Today, Ferrexpo released its Q3 production results. Despite high imported electricity tariffs and low iron ore prices, we remain resilient, focusing on production and sales of our high-grade (67% Fe) Direct Reduction products, and continue serving our customers, including several new customers in the MENA region. #FXPO #ironore #mining

At Ferrexpo, we believe in the benefits of sport for everybody. We recently held our annual charity run in Horishna Plavni, which was attended by thousands. The funds that were raised will be used to support children with disabilities, in particular, rehabilitation training. Athletes with disabilities show that together many challenges can be overcome. Today Ukraine observes Defenders of Ukraine Day. We honour, especially, the heroism of our colleagues who gave their lives for the freedom of the country. Sadly, as of 20 September 2024 we have lost 47 employees during Ukraine's defence against Russian aggression, three of whom fell in battle before 2022. This day is a tribute to those who have stood, and continue to stand, in defence of Ukraine's independence, embodying the strength of the Ukrainian spirit. We are proud of you, and your bravery leads us to Victory. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
