We recently had the honor of welcoming a group of students from Meiji University to IAV in Berlin. 🌍 These talented young minds participated in the "Talent Challenge" by German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Japan, where they worked on a case study for a software product. The students, specializing in digital products and blockchain technology, conducted a market analysis and designed a marketing campaign. 📊 Their visit to Germany also included a block seminar at the University of Osnabrück. We look forward to future collaborations and the exchange of knowledge and experiences between Japan and Germany! 📚✨ #InternationalExchange #Collaboration #DigitalTransformation #FutureLeaders

Sharing data across projects within a company is difficult because it is distributed across systems and there are often legal hurdles. IAV and Fraunhofer have jointly developed an approach that makes optimum use of data room concepts. In this article, Ralf Nagel from Fraunhofer ISST and Mark-Kevin Walda from IAV explain how internal data rooms can revolutionize data management in organizations. They also discuss the DataMesh, an approach that enables different teams in the company to manage their own data, offer it as products and share it. This allows data to be better organized, used and shared. At the #eSAAM2024 conference, Jan Peter Meyer will present the concept “IntraDataspace - An Architecture of a Company-Internal Dataspace”. The presentation will also be published as Open Access on ACM. Just follow the link in the comments.

It is a terrible scenario that the battery in the car starts to burn. The risk of thermal runaway increases as the energy density increases and the materials become more thermally unstable. That is why we are developing technologies to slow down and prevent thermal runaway. Our colleagues Brahim SOLTANI and Dr. Alexander Fandakov presented their latest advancements on thermal runaway and thermal propagation at this year's Batteries Event 2024 in Lyon. They also showed exciting experiments and simulations. Just get in touch with them if you would like to find out more. #BatteriesEvent2024 #ThermalRunaway #BatterySafety #ElectricVehicles
