In July, our Marelli team in Brazil carried out a campaign focused on workplace ergonomics, an area of study that aims at creating working conditions which favor employees' health. The day evolved around the concept of movement and several activities were organized for our #MarelliPeople, who gathered to follow guidance courses on correct posture, workplace gymnastics and massaging techniques. "Life is not about waiting out the storm, but about learning to dance in the rain". That's one of Anna Kołodziej's favorite mottos, a "golden thought" to remind her to always persevere and look forward. Anna is an Aftermarket Supply Chain Management Specialist in Poland for Marelli. She is responsible for planning materials for the Polish and Italian warehouses. When she first joined Marelli in 2014, she used to work with customers, logistics, distribution and other sectors and she says it took her a great deal of time to get used to it. Today, she takes care of Supply Chain Management and she oversees several activities: conducting analyses, checking clients and suppliers' backorders, taking part in internal/external meetings and solving problems. “Everything may be distant, but nothing is attainable”. While recalling the moment when the Marelli Aftermarket business Logistics Team received one of the five 2021 CEO Excellence Awards for the Advanced Distribution Model, Anna states how significant this moment was for her. It proved that even though things may look far away from us, nothing is impossible. #MarelliPeople

Marelli will participate in the upcoming DVN Lighting Workshop, taking place on September 4th and 5th, 2024, in Pune, India.   Raj Vazirani, VP Engineering and CTO for automotive lighting and sensing at Marelli, will join an interesting CTO round table to discuss how LEDs implementation is a game changer for designers and OEMs. Additionally, he will deliver a keynote presentation on day two, titled “Marelli’s Vision - SDV: From Physical to Digital Lighting Evolution and Future Marelli Lighting Technology for India”.   In addition, Salvatore Blanco, CTO Marelli Motherson Lighting India, will give a presentation about “Lighting Trends - Automotive Exterior: Body Lighting and Ground Projection”.

At #Marelli, we recognize the importance of employee safety and the fact that it is an integral part of our business. In recent months, in many Marelli plants all over the world - including Juarez, Ramoz Arizpe, Toluca and Tepotzotlan in Mexico and Bari, Bologna, Tolmezzo and Venaria in Italy - we have been carrying out a variety of initiatives to highlight our commitment to safety. Our goal as a company is to eliminate workplace accidents and injuries, establishing a "Zero Injury Focus". This enhancement will include improving upon the EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) skillsets, facility risk assessments, revised metrics focusing on leading indicators, safety leadership training and direct assistance to those facilities with the weakest safety performance.  Thank you to all those who were an active part in this project! #MarelliSpirit
