President and CEO Manabu Chikumoto visited Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec’s Ueda Plant in Nagano, Japan. He observed the manufacturing site of aluminum composite material #ALPOLIC™.🔍 During a discussion session, Chikumoto commented on the use of ALPOLIC™ in landmarks🏙️ around the world, including #MarinaBaySands in Singapore: “I'm happy when I hear ‘ALPOLIC™ is used here’ on business trips.” He continued, “Although it's being adopted in various places and we are already involved in recycling, responding to #CarbonNeutrality and the circular economy will become increasingly important. We need everyone’s innovative ideas to make that a reality.” 🌱 #MitsubishiChemicalGroup #MCGLeadership

We exhibited in the Children’s Chemistry Experiment Show 2024, a hands-on event primarily targeting elementary school students. This event allows children to learn about chemistry while having fun through creative experiment classes hosted by chemical companies and educational institutions.👨🔬 At the #MitsubishiChemicalGroup booth, children were able to create their original glowing straps using UV-curing resin.🌟 Children added their favorite colors and parts to the molds to bring their ideas to life.🪄They enjoyed learning about #chemistry together through experiments! #SummerVacation

📝#MCGExhibitionReport📝 We’re sharing a brief report from the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2024 NAGOYA! With a focus on electrification and environmental friendliness, we displayed automotive materials designed to help achieve #CarbonNeutrality.🚗 The glass fiber reinforced polypropylene #FUNCSTER™ received a great response for its sample display of a back door inner component made using recycled materials, highlighting the growing interest in recycling. ♻️ Another exhibit in the spotlight was #DURABIO™, bio-based engineering plastic featured on the windshield of Honda's CRF1100L Africa Twin series. This marked the first time, bio-based engineering plastic was used in the transparent windshield of a motorcycle.🏍️ Thank you to everyone who visited the Mitsubishi Chemical Group's booth.
