World class manufacturers need reliable plant, robust processors and highly skilled people. Here at NSK, we are firm believers in investing in making improvements in these three key assets. It's why the motto for our AIP (Asset Improvement Programme) is 'Improvement Pays'. By making small improvements throughout your operations, it will lead to big savings in cost, time and efficiency. For end users, it improves machine reliability and productivity. For distributors, it unlocks new opportunities to improve sales growth and enhances the skillset of the team. NSK Ltd. has developed ROBUSTRIDE™, a high-precision single row Cylindrical Roller Bearing for Machine Tool spindles that improves machine tool productivity. The newly developed product achieves longer bearing life and higher speeds by improving grease life and limiting speeds. This contributes to reducing the frequency of bearing replacement, expanding the usable rotational speed range in the grease lubrication method, which in turn consumes less electrical power and improves the productivity of machine tools. NSK will exhibit this product at the 32nd Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF 2024) to be held from 5 -10 Nov 2024, and mass production is slated to start in 2025.
