🚨 1.4x Higher Risk of Death Due to "Excessive Sitting" 🚨
A representative Australian study of around 220,000 people over the age of 45 showed alarming findings on sedentary behavior.
📊 People who sat for 8+ hours/day had a 1.15x higher risk of death, but those who sat for 11+ hours/day had a 1.4x higher risk compared to those who sat for less than 4 hours/day.
👉 Did you know? Studies show that 1 hour of sitting (like watching TV) shortens life expectancy by 22 minutes! ⏳
🚗 Additionally, people who spend more than 10 hours/week sitting in a car have a 1.8x higher risk of coronary artery disease mortality than those who spend less than 4 hours/week driving.
