This time, model and actress Mizuki Morisaki, who has appeared in the commercials since the first one, sneaked into our research and development facility. The shoot took place in the Light Tunnel Building (Hatano technical center), a verification test facility that artificially creates conditions such as nighttime, rain, and fog. Stanley Electric's light source products are used not only in the in-vehicle products introduced in the past two posts, but also in exterior products that support the safety of the driver and those around them. Our products meet various needs for automation, such as displaying the direction of travel using the drawing function on the road surface. We are introducing LEDs for automotive LCD backlighting. In recent years, automotive displays have become larger and larger, and are used for a wide range of applications from information necessary for safe driving to entertainment. There are two typical layouts for backlight source used in automotive applications: edge-lit and direct-lit. Stanley Electric offers a lineup of "wide color gamut white light", that are ideal for both layouts and provide vivid colors. [Edge-lit]  -Low power consumption = Possible with a relatively small number of LEDs.  -Uneven brightness and uniform appearance. [Direct-lit]  -The brightness of the entire display can be increased in proportion to the number of LEDs.  -High contrast and high quality display is available by turning off the LEDs in areas where there is no display. Stanley Electric participated in the “Singapore International Water Week" exhibition which was held in Singapore on the 19th – 21st of June 2024. We exhibited our UV Water Disinfection Solutions ranging from small to large flow and storage water. There were many visitors from countries other than Singapore, and we were able to exchange market information with customers, looking into creating values, and exploring opportunities to help strengthen our brands together through business collaboration. "Monozukuri World 2024" was held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 19 to 21, and Stanley Electric took part in the exhibition at the "Factory Equipment and Fixtures corner".
