Compared to Tesla and other operating system vendors, the vendors of #EV chargers and #IVI systems have markedly lower #security awareness, which could put existing products at high risk. This is one of the lessons learned after discovering 49 #vulnerabilities at #Pwn2Own #Automotive, 53% of which targeted EV chargers. Not too late to learn more of these lessons in today's joint webinar with Deloitte: 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 📆 November 7, Thursday 🕰️ 4:00 p.m. CET ⚠️ Last chance to register: https://lnkd.in/g_mRMTqZ See you there!

#VicOne is always proud to have team members like Andrew KOLISNYK, who is passionate about advancing the future of automotive cybersecurity. Andrew KOLISNYK, VicOne's Head of Business Development - Europe, engaged the audience at the Allianz Partners and Tencent Cloud Automotive Ecosystem Leadership Forum. He took part in the ongoing discussion about "Data Connectivity and Monetization Opportunities" together with fellow panelists and industry experts. Here's Andrew sharing his insights in the event! Thank you, Andrew! 👍
Week ago during Mondial de l’Auto - Paris I had a privilege to attend Allianz Partners and Tencent Cloud Automotive Ecosystem Leadership Forum taking part in the discussion about “Data Connectivity and Monetization Opportunities” together with fellow panelists Mona Levacher, Anna Rycombel and Steven Shan moderated by Bertrand Hartemann. When it comes to monetizing data connectivity, the mandatory effort is building of #trust for vehicle owners using value-added services where VicOne contributes with prioritization of user #privacy and data #security, supporting OEM’s meeting regulations (like #GDPR, #UNR155) in the European market and protecting supply chain from cyber attacks. This means being transparent and secure about data sharing. Only then we can create services that are truly convenient and build a #trustworthy #ecosystem that encourages more customers to get on board. The key takeaway that #AI innovations also introduce new risks, particularly in the realm of cybersecurity. As #smart #cockpits become increasingly #connected, they may become attractive targets for cyber attackers. At VicOne we advise OEMs to implement robust security measures, including #continuous #monitoring and #threat #detection systems, to protect both the vehicle’s systems and the user’s data. With latest AI implementation, we can process ECU logs and security events in the vehicle and in addition secure AI-powered cockpits by avoiding sensitive #PII data leaks. P.S. positively impressed by BYD R&D and market coverage numbers presented by Stella. Li Many thanks once again for having me Jean-Marc Pailhol, Christophe Di Perna, Pierre-Louis Cohet, Fred Sun and thanksfull for the support by Edward Tsai, Dan Zhou, Anna Prokhorova, Daniela Schmuck-Soldan, Peter Yang, Ling Cheng.
