We are excited to announce the change of our company name from Fujimori Kogyo Co., Ltd. to “ZACROS Corporation,” effective October 1, 2024. This official legal name change signifies our commitment to further evolution as “the solution-creating company” going forward. The name “ZACROS” stands for “uncharted forefront”, with the combination of the letter “Z,” representing ultimate/uncharted, and the Greek word “ACRO,” meaning peak/forefront. This symbolizes our strong will to look toward the future and explore new possibilities. Yahiko Fujimori, the founder once said, “Unique solutions emerge through challenges to the difficult and the unknown.” We inherited Yahiko’s word and his spirit, and infused them into the new company name. Under our 2030 business plan, we will aim at unrecognized needs of our customers and society and advance our evolution as “the solution-creating company.” We have also refined our logo to reflect the future vision of ZACROS. The shape symbolizes layers of films, our core technology, and the colors express the blue sky and the terra verde. Inheriting the fortune, today, we reaffirm our enthusiasm for “Uncharted Forefront” with the sharpened edge, and our “Embracing Spirit” towards people, society and the Earth with the warmer tones. As we continue to introduce our company history through our 2024 calendar, the theme chosen for July is "共に生きる" which roughly translates to ”Live together” The 1970's was when Fujimori Kogyo, which had experienced the very sudden loss of life of its founder, made a decision to expand into the "industries of living;" many of our pharmaceutical and medical related products were developed during this time. Our Nabari plant was built and dedicated for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical packaging, and was one of the first packaging plants to achieve GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards in Japan. This level of quality control was seen by some as "overengineering" but many pharma clients were impressed by the higher standards of production. This bold management decision in consideration of the future led to the birth of our current Wellness business unit, which is now a valuable asset for us and society at large.
