Yesterday, AVA had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Isuzu East Africa, headed by Rita Kavashe, the managing director. During their visit, the team toured our facilities and engaged in detailed conversations regarding potential partnerships and the current state of the industry. We are committed to fostering collaboration over competition to advance both the automotive sector and manufacturing in our country. #BuyKenyaBuildKenya

The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Kenya, H.E. Ruzaimi Mohamad, visited AVA for a plant tour and discussions on collaborations between Kenya and Malaysia. The cordial relationship between our two countries has led to industrial partnerships, including AVA’s CKD assembly of Proton Saga vehicles since 2020.

Last week, our plant buzzed with conversations, smiles, and vibrant outfits as we celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity. It was an opportunity for everyone to proudly display their rich cultural heritage and appreciate the diversity that makes our workplace truly special. We shared delicious food from different cultures, danced, and admired the beautiful attire worn by our team members. AVA takes pride in being the only IATF 16949-certified assembly plant in the region. As such, we embrace product audits as part of our quality assurance. Beyond cooperating with the auditors, we view these as opportunities to identify areas of improvement and innovation. This week’s DTA audit aims to ensure that AVA continues to assemble world-class Daimler trucks as part of our extensive portfolio.
