What's been happening at DadaPreneur? We’re excited to share that last Wednesday marked our third session of the DadaPreneur program! Here’s a quick look at our journey so far: 📌Session 1: Our first gathering was all about introductions! We listened to our DadaPreneurs’ expectations and helped everyone get comfortable with each other and the program. 📌Session 2: We dove into personal finance, exploring spending habits, income strategies, and, most importantly, how to keep money working for us. 📌Session 3: Last Wednesday, we covered Debt Management and tips for achieving financial freedom. We also introduced the benefits of saving in Bitcoin—like the potential for significant returns, diversification, liquidity, global accessibility, and protection against inflation. Most African women drive the economy through small businesses and everyday financial responsibilities, from covering groceries to school fees and medical expenses. That’s why we’re dedicated to helping them gain financial confidence and resilience. With Bitcoin in the mix, they have even greater opportunities for growth and security and we're here to walk alongside them on this journey. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building financial empowerment together! #dadapreneur #financialeducation #bitcoin

We’re passionate about seeing African women succeed, especially in a space that’s often male-dominated. We host some of the best Bitcoin events in Kenya, so keep an eye out, you won’t want to miss them🙌 To all our amazing dadas, you’re the heart of our community, and we’re so proud to stand with you❤️ #womenempowerment #bitcoin #bitcoineducation #bitcoinafrica #financialeducation #africanwomen

On Wednesday, we held our second Writers Mentorship session, and it was a blast! 🎉 Led by the amazing Frank Corva our dadas had the opportunity to showcase their writing skills by sharing articles they worked on after our first session. Frank provided invaluable feedback, highlighting what they nailed and where they could improve! We explored how to create SEO-friendly titles and effectively use hyperlinks while emphasizing the importance of clarity and structure. With feedback on articles from Linda Kariuki and Harymo, Frank reinforced that perfection can be the enemy of progress, it’s all about taking steps forward. This session also featured an exciting opportunity for our dadas to get paid in sats! The three best-performing articles will not only receive compensation but also be published in Frank's newsletter—a fantastic motivation for our girls to elevate their skills and showcase their talent. A huge thank you to Frank Corva for always coming through, providing this incredible opportunity, and empowering our writers. We can’t wait to see how our dadas implement these lessons and continue to grow✍️💪 #mentorship #proofofwork #bitcoin

Yesterday, we held our very first C-Suite Mentorship session, and it was nothing short of phenomenal🙌 We had the incredible Janet Maingi from Gridless, a powerhouse in the Bitcoin and tech space, guiding our dadas on how to strategically position themselves for success. From mastering resume building to nailing job interviews, Janet didn’t hold back! She shared golden advice on being authentic, doing the work, and how it all comes back tenfold💫 We dove deep into self-assessment, sharpening skills, and the importance of personal branding, all while emphasizing that continuous learning and networking are key. The energy in the room was electric, and our dadas left feeling inspired and ready to implement everything they learned! We’re committed to helping them establish a strong presence in the space, and we can’t wait to see the amazing achievements that lie ahead. A huge thank you to Janet Maingi for taking the time to share her wisdom and insights with us! Your passion and knowledge inspire us all! And a heartfelt shoutout to our CEO Lorraine Marcel for consistently bringing amazing people into our community. At Bitcoin Dada, we are passionate about mentorship and creating opportunities for our dadas to thrive. We only want the best for our community, and yesterday’s session proved that when strong women come together, magic happens!🙏 #mentorship #womenintech #bitcoin

Yesterday we had another article writing session by Frank Corva courtesy of BITCOIN DADA . The session yesterday was more like a #personal coaching where our tutor took us through our #sample articles while suggesting corrections where necessary. I got to learn a lot of things such as √ being #clear instead of #clever √ it's #advisable to use at most #8 links per piece √ #chaining √ #economy of words √ using #short, #captivating headings I'm grateful for the dedication that Frank Corva shown, and he tried to be kind with the criticism and taught us a balance between getting what you want and communicating to your audience.

What an amazing experience! The hands-on hardware wallet session and hackathon were incredibly informative. Thanks to BITCOIN DADA for empowering women in #Bitcoin through their amazing programs; #DadaDevs.
On Saturday we held our first Dada Devs workshop proudly sponsored by Trezor Here’s a recap of the day👇 We kicked off with a hands-on hardware wallet session led by our tutor, Simon, he focused on the Trezor & reinforced the importance of hardware wallets for Bitcoin security! Then came the hackathon💻. We used the regtest network to simulate real #Bitcoin transactions. Each team created, funded, signed, & sent a raw transaction, then traced it in the mempool. The goal? To understand the entire flow of a Bitcoin transaction & it was a wild success. After hacking, teams presented their work to the class. Watching the girls explain the flow of a Bitcoin transaction so confidently was a proud moment for us all. The growth is real! And yes, every group walked away with a Trezor Wallet as a reward for their hard work!🎉 Lastly, we had guest speakers! We were joined by Mogashni Naidoo a UX Bitcoin designer. She emphasized the vital role African women play in this space saying: "We need your mind and we need your talent as women." Thank you Mogashni Naidoo for this reminder 🙏. Naiyoma and Isaack Njama, two Btrust Builders fellows, also shared their stories and encouraged our Dada Devs to dive deep into Bitcoin development. Their journeys were a true inspiration for our Dadas. Huge thanks to Trezor & Trezor Academy for sponsoring this incredible workshop and empowering the next generation of African women in Bitcoin. This is just the beginning, #DadaDevs are on the rise! #development #bitcoin #workshop #womenwhocode
