The Geological Society of Kenya (GSK) was established in 1974 to cater for the needs of geologists in Kenya and encourage geoscientific education, collaboration and cooperation in Kenya, across the continent and the world at large. GSK is a nonprofit making, non-political organization. It generates its income from membership subscription, corporate membership and donations from various relevant Government Ministries and NGOs.
