    At Glass House PR, we were excited to play a pivotal role in supporting Uber as they celebrated one year of their groundbreaking electric mobility initiative in Kenya. This milestone represents a significant step in Uber’s journey towards a sustainable, zero-emission future. Since the launch of Uber’s electric bikes in Kenya, we’ve witnessed impressive growth—from an initial fleet of 50 bikes to over 500 today, with ambitious plans to reach 1,500 by the end of the year. This expansion, made possible through collaboration with Green Wheels Kenya, underscores Uber’s commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship. These electric bikes are not just a greener alternative to traditional two-wheelers; they also offer tangible benefits to both riders and passengers. Lower maintenance costs, zero emissions, and reduced noise pollution are just a few of the advantages that are setting a new benchmark in urban mobility. For passengers, the experience is both safe and affordable, with the added assurance of complimentary helmets for every ride. As Uber advances its mission to become a zero-emission platform by 2040, Glass House PR remains a dedicated partner in communicating and amplifying this vision.
