From January 2022 to December 2023, we've paid 6,266 NHIF premiums, totaling Kshs. 15,589,700. This support has been instrumental in ensuring that children battling cancer in Kenya have access to essential healthcare services, including treatment, medications, and specialized care. At HCK, our mission is rooted in providing timely and affordable cancer care for every child in Kenya. Through initiatives like covering NHIF premiums, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on families and ensure that no child is denied treatment due to financial constraints. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to fund crucial initiatives such as annual NHIF coverage, feeding programs, and the 1 Hope House project. NHIF coverage ensures that children receive the medical care they desperately need, while our feeding programs provide nutritious meals to sustain them during their treatments. The 1 Hope House project offers a safe and supportive environment for children and their families - with a capacity of 25 patients and 25 caregivers, reducing the burden of transportation and accommodation during their fight against cancer.
