Role Summary:
We’re seeking an Investigation Officer to manage car yard security, lead fraud investigations, support loan disbursements, and ensure smooth yard operations. This role is central to achieving our strategic goals and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough anti-fraud investigations in the car yard.
- Supervise all yard staff, including the maintenance team.
- Ensure vehicle security, yard cleanliness, and process cash sales.
- Oversee customer loan applications, ensuring efficient loan disbursement.
- Introduce and explain MOGO Kenya’s financing products to clients.
- Collect and verify customer documents, conduct KYC, and prevent fraud.
- Manage yard inventory, approve vehicle releases, and ensure cars are sale-ready.
- Organize car inspections, minor repairs, and prepare vehicles for resale.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare monthly sales and yard activity reports, achieving set sales targets.
- Act as a primary contact for car asset refinancing inquiries.
- Maintain strong client and partner relationships and introduce company services.
- Substitute other finance officers as needed to ensure continuous refinancing services.
- Report performance and submit analyses to the Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Criminology, Investigations, Law, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certification or training in fraud examination/investigation methods.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in investigations; automotive sales experience a plus.
- Strong integrity, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills.
- Proficient in English and Swahili; MS Office skills required.
