Safaricom PLC reposted this
Last week I was at the Vodacom campus in Johannesburg as Vodacom Group hosted the Vodafone Group executive committee led by Vodafone Group CEO Margherita Della Valle. I attended the strategy showcase where I got to present Safaricom PLC’s mission for FY 2024/2025 and its contribution to the broader Group strategy. We also showcased how we are accelerating smartphone penetration by driving innovative device financing solutions and investing in local device assembly. These efforts are aimed at making smartphones more accessible and affordable, ensuring that more people can enjoy the benefits of internet connectivity and bridging the digital divide.
