United Women's Council is a non-partisan organization that advocates for the advancement of women to led in their spheres of influence. We aim to build leadership capabilities of women and preparing them for service; We believe in advancing gender equity to create a more fair and inclusive society, and we are dedicated to supporting women leaders as decision-makers, civic leaders, and peacemakers for both professional women and women at the grassroots. We aim to enable women to become independent and assume power to control their own lives. To empower women with the tools to work their way out of poverty, to support their families, to support their communities and gain the confidence to become stronger and more independent. UWC aims to build and foster a sense of sisterhood in the nation of Kenya through a national movement of women who support one another, connect with each and grow.
