Key Insights and Areas of Discussion The roundtable discussion was organized and facilitated by passionate youth leaders from Uganda and Cyprus, offering a unique perspective on the current state of digital spaces and the role each of us can play in shaping the future narrative. Below are the key areas explored during the discussion: 1. Understanding Hate Speech in Digital Platforms 2. How Content is Shaped on Social Media Platforms 3. The training aim has been to prepare champions capable of being local actors towards the realization of gender equality and strengthening the position of local women and girls and community structures. Under the Digit@lly Together for Gender Equality - DiGE project, we continue developing the capacity of our local youngsters in ensuring that women are able to access equal opportunities at all levels. It enables individuals to break free from the constraints of poverty, prejudice, and discrimination, and it lays the foundation for healthier, more equitable societies. As we continue to address global challenges—whether related to climate change, inequality, or public health—education must remain at the center of our efforts. When education is prioritized and made accessible to all, it becomes a transformative force for progress, creating a ripple effect that can positively impact generations to come. In a world where social change is urgently needed, education offers hope, empowerment, and the promise of a brighter, more inclusive future for all. A happy woman leads to a happy society. Happy International Women's Day💪 As a reminder, we stand in solidarity with women around the world. While not every woman gets the opportunity to be empowered and realize her full potential. Regardless of differences, each woman is unique and valuable in her own right. Having this day in line with the beautiful women we have been working with, marks a significant step and a journey we are committed to walking, ensuring every woman receives the empowerment she deserves. Together, let us create safe and nurturing environments that empower our women and ensure they lead happy, fulfilled lives. Ours is to ensure that we are able to enhance gender equality in all spheres of life. As we continue with the local implementation of our Digit@lly Together for Gender Equality project, we aim to ensure that all are reached and empowered. #InternationalWomensDay #EmpowerWomen #EqualityForAll #StrongerTogether #HappyWomenHappySociety #WomenEmpowermentInAfrica #Erasmus+ programme

Clean water is not just a basic necessity—it is a catalyst for economic growth. Investing in clean water infrastructure improves health, productivity, and business opportunities, leading to sustainable economic development. Clean water plays a crucial role in economic development by supporting public health, agriculture, industry, and overall productivity. Improved Public Health & Productivity Access to clean water reduces waterborne diseases (e.g., cholera, dysentery), leading to a healthier workforce. Healthy workers are more productive, reducing absenteeism and increasing efficiency in various sectors. Education & Human Capital Development Clean water in schools reduces illness, leading to better attendance and learning outcomes. Women and children, who often fetch water in developing regions, can focus on education and work instead. Climate Resilience & Sustainable Development Proper water management helps communities withstand droughts and floods, reducing economic losses. Investments in clean water infrastructure create jobs and support long-term economic stability.
