Recent research published in the prestigious scientific journal Nature clearly shows that Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests protect wildlife in the Congo Basin. Large, threatened mammals, such as great apes and forest elephants, and other wildlife are better conserved in FSC-certified forests 🌳🌳🌳 compared to non-certified. Promoting sustainable forest management and wood traceability is key to protecting the Congo Basin's unique biodiversity. On this International Day of Forests, remember to look for FSC or other reliable certification logos on product labels. Your purchasing choices can make a significant impact on the future of our forests!
