Today, KIPPRA hosted a Roundtable on "Understanding the Implications of Gender Dynamics on Job Creation in Kenya: The Efficacy of Female Labour." The session featured presentations on Women in STEM and Related Jobs, Work-life Balance in Disciplined Forces, and Traditional Cultural Norms and Employment. Participants engaged in breakout group discussions on each of these themes, exploring ways to enhance gender inclusivity in various sectors. The event brought together representatives from the Judiciary, CEMASTEA, JASLIKA, NCPD, RELI Africa, Kenyatta University Women's Economic Empowerment Hub (KUWEE), KNATCOM, Girl Child Network, Usawa Agenda, the National Police Service, and Zizi Afrique, along with a host of KIPPRA staff. Dr. George Lutomia led the KIPPRA team in facilitating these important discussions.
