As we mark #WorldMentalHealthDay, we emphasize the critical role that #mentalhealth plays in the workplace. Across Africa, more than 116 million people are affected by mental health disorders, often impacting their work, productivity, and overall well-being. However, mental health remains under prioritized due to competing health and development challenges. Through the Mental Health Data Prize Africa challenge, we are receiving innovative, data-driven solutions to address mental health issues in the workplace and beyond. From #anxiety to #depression and #psychosis, these proposals focus on interventions that can create healthier, more supportive environments for all. Together, let us harness #data #science to transform mental health research in Africa, bridging gaps in prevention, treatment, and care. #MHDPA #MentalHealthAtWork #DataScience
