LBL International Construction and Wise had a major place at the recent Board of Engineers Cambodia (BEC) seminar on Geotechnical Engineering.   The event took place at the Phnom Penh Hotel on May 30th, 2024, bringing together over 300 Civil and Construction Engineers from across Cambodia. Our Engineering dept. team also joined the event.   Our Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Angkeara SVAY, PhD was among the official speakers, delivering an in-depth presentation on safety factors of pile-bearing capacity in deep foundation design.   LBL and Wise remain firmly committed to supporting such initiatives that contribute to the advancement of the engineering profession in Cambodia and the sharing of knowledge all around.   #LBL #WISEbyLBL #Cambodia

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of Phase 1 at Novotel BKK 1! Over the past 5 months, our dedicated team at LBL International Construction has tackled one of the most challenging projects we've encountered yet. When we were brought in, the project faced significant organizational challenges that hindered progress. Through strategic intervention and decisive action, we transformed what was once a bottleneck into a beacon of efficiency. With determination and expertise, we navigated through obstacles, coordinated over 20 contractors and breathed new life into the project. Our commitment to excellence shone through as we implemented rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) measures, significantly enhancing the quality of work delivered by all contractors involved. Every step of the way, we ensured precision and accuracy to raise the bar for construction standards. With steadfast determination, we not only resolved existing issues but also accelerated progress towards the completion of this iconic 27-floor hotel. We are proud to have earned the main contractor role for all remaining floors, a testament to our team's unwavering dedication and exceptional performance. We are pleased to announce that LBL International Construction has been awarded by CAIC and is actively involved in the prestigious and impressive Techo International Airport (TIA) greenfield project in Phnom Penh since March 2023, together with both local CAIC management and various international engineers and consultants. Our scope of work includes the design and construction of the soffit ceilings for the over 150 000 sqm Passenger Terminal Building and The North Pier Building. The distinctive ceiling design captures the natural and environmental elements of Cambodia, making it the signature feature of TIA. TIA, which is set to become the 9th largest in the world at first instance of the highest airport category 4F in phase 1, is being designed by the renowned company Foster + Partners, with whom we have closely collaborated to provide our innovative construction solutions. This project is a significant milestone for our company, our esteemed client, CAIC, and for the country as a whole. We are excited and committed to seeing the progress deliverable of this project for the positive impact it will have on the region. We look forward to being part of this TIA success project, which will not only pave the way for the new prestigious international gateway but also for capacity building in all aspects to showcase Cambodia's full potential and opportunities.
