Empowering farmers with financial and digital literacy transforms lives! 🌱 Our team spent four days in Steung Treng Province, delivering Financial and Literacy Training to 50 households of farmers as part of the “DARWIN INNOVATION PROJECT (CRICKET FARMING FOR CONSERVATION)” project in partnership with Agri House and Rising Phoenix. Equipped with financial literacy, they can now make informed decisions, track expenses, and plan effectively. Their creativity and passion for solving real-world problems truly inspired our team. 💡🌱 From multipurpose wax using organic coconut oil 🥥, eco-friendly tote bags designed to reduce plastic waste 🌍♻️, a self-directed board game 🎲, to a beautifully crafted rose garden made from recycled plastic 🌹🛠️, these students brought incredible innovations to the table. After meeting with our team, they left with valuable feedback to further refine their ideas. Their drive and innovative ideas offer a glimpse of hope for the future of entrepreneurship in Cambodia. 🤩 Thrilled to begin the second workshop of our “Rising Together: Youth-Led Solutions and Action for Disability Inclusion in Civic Engagement” project! Last weekend, 26 inspiring youth with disabilities joined us to dive into project, budget, and team management, setting the stage for them to bring their ideas of change to life. Over the 2-day workshop, they strengthened essential soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving, while gaining the confidence to take meaningful steps both within and beyond the project. Our team had an incredible time delivering training designed to deepen understanding of key project management principles. We were also honored to have Mrs. Samang Kimarn, a former youth leader, share her experiences and best practices in working with youth with disabilities. The training covered essential topics such as leadership, effective communication styles, active listening techniques, time management strategies, and the vital role of teamwork in building successful teams. We’re grateful for the enthusiasm and dedication shown by our participants.
